Why This Matters
Lahore, once known as the City of Gardens, has lost much of its green cover due to rapid urbanization and deforestation.
- Corporatization and urban expansion have turned natural landscapes into concrete jungles.
- Trees were cut at an alarming pace, raising concerns among environmentalists and local communities.
- Let’s Do It Welfare Foundation initiated plantation drives to help restore Lahore’s natural beauty.
What We Do
- Collaboration with PHA for organized plantation drives
- Identifying suitable plantation areas based on local biodiversity
- Ensuring long-term care and adoption of planted trees
- Engaging volunteers and corporate teams in environmental action
Our Impact
In just two years, we planted, cared for, and adopted over 2000 tree saplings across Lahore.
Over 90% survival rate through consistent care and community involvement.
